I continued with the Spida last night. I gave him a thin wash of Devlan Mud, applied with the airbrush. It toned down everything nicely.
Then it received a heavy washing with Badab Black, applied normally with a brush.
Starts getting grimy and dark.
Then I applied the first highlights.
I'm not sure if its really visible, but I did the red fuel can and its straps, the hydraulics pistons received a metal highlight, and the hexagonal mounts of the hydraulics got some first highlights.
Still a lot of highlighting and detailing before I can add the weathering and damages....but I really look forward to that :)
